Clouded leopards stay in forests in Southeast Asia from Nepal to Southern China through Thailand
               which include the Himalaya foothills in Nepal, India to Myanmar, Bhutan, Peninsular Malaysia,
               Indochina and in China south of the Yangtze river. Clouded leopard is extinct in Taiwan. They stay in
               areas up to 3720 metres. Clouded leopards do not inhabit the island of Java. They are considered as
               vulnerable.

               There are two species of clouded leopard. The clouded leopard specie stays on the mainland of Asia
               and Taiwan and the Sunda clouded leopard in Borneo and Sumatra. The clouded leopard specie is
               divide into 3 subspecies. The Neofelis nebulosa nebulosa who live in Southern China to eastern
               Myanmar. The second sub-specie is Neofelia nebulosa macrosceloides and lives in Nepal to
               Myanmar. The third sub-specie is extinct and used to inhabit Taiwan, Neofelia nebulosa brachyura.

































               The Sunda clouded leopard is divided in two subspecies. The one sub-specie stays on the island of
               Borneo and the other sub-specie stays on Sumatra.
