They are very secretive, well camouflaged and most active during dusk and dawn. They abandon
               their kill readily when threatened. They prefer ambushing the prey, leap at the prey and kill it with a
               single bite in the neck. They consume the kill quickly and can survive for 2 weeks without food after
               a single kill. Snow leopards can hunt in pairs, normally mating pairs. They are carnivores but also eat
               vegetation. Snow leopards are the least aggressive cat against humans.

               The biggest threat for the snow leopard are humans. The snow leopards are killed for their fur,
               bones and body parts. Other factors that decrease the population of the snow leopard are climate
               change, protection of farm animals and decrease of habitat through increase of farm land or mining
               in the area.
