PAYMENT POLICY
The payment policy is intended to avoid a financial burden.
PAYMENT duE BEFORE OBITuARY PLACEMENT & RENdERING OF SERvICES
Immediate Need Today
Payment Options = Payment in Full
Option (A) Single Payment In Full:
Fully funded pre-paid contract with Staab Funeral Home , cash, check, ACH,
®
VISA, Discover or Master Card. Obituary placement and rendering of
services are without delay. STAAB is not a licensed lender, therefore cannot
®
accept installment payments. Co-signers are required if there is no legally
responsible relative or more than one payor.
Option (B) Two Step Process 60% + Balance = Payment In Full:
STEP (1) 60% cash, check, ACH, VISA, Discover or Master Card.
STEP (2) Balance Due/collateral assignment, provided by the client family/
beneficiary(s), payable to Staab Funeral Home® acknowledged & confirmed
by the insurance company(s) in writing verifying a death benefit sufficient to
pay the balance. Obituary placement and rendering of services may be
delayed. Co-signers are required if there is no legally responsible relative or
more than one payor.
Other Payment Sources From Deceased Assets:
In the event the deceased’s estate or legal settlement is the only asset, the
purchaser and or client family shall pay the funeral costs in full before obituary
placement & rendering of services.
The client family shall then file a claim with the estate for reimbursement.
Bank or employer advances may be attainable if requested by the client family.
Illinois Department Of Human Services (Public Aid):
If the deceased is an active or eligible recipient, our associates will assist the client
family in filing the reimbursement claim.
There may be a delay of several business days to verify eligibility.
Burial benefits are, from time to time, suspended by the State of Illinois.

Should additional funding assistance be needed, a Giving Compassion
crowdfunding campaign can be set up online and shared via Facebook.
