The Spiritual Leadership Institute (SLI) - is an educational arm of the Forum focused on spiritual transformation and leadership
development of members. Programs are designed to challenge members to encounter God in new ways through intensive study of the
Scriptures tailored to their unique responsibilities and challenges faced in the marketplace and at home. The curriculum includes an array
of core, graduate, female, spousal, next generation, and special topics options. Most courses include a two to three-year commitment,
assigned disciplers, and the writing of a thesis.
Mentoring - utilizes the significant leadership and faith experiences of Forum members to serve others. Based on Proverbs 27:17, "As iron
sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another," the interaction between mentors and proteges provides opportunities to develop and explore
professional and personal goals from a spiritual context.
Discipleship - seeks to lead and encourage individuals into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other, applying His
teachings to all areas of their lives. Our pro provides regular, in-depth, one-on-one, or small gro directed study, and
application of the Bible - either in person or via technology. Resources are designed and deployed to best meet the needs of individual
participants - direct Bible study, discussion of topical books, or other curriculum.
Annual Forums - national gatherings held each fall for members and spouses. While allowing plenty of time for informal conversations to
build deeper friendships and to start new ones, renowned guest speakers present on topics relevant to members' day-to-day journeys in the
marketplace and on the front.
Spring Events - similar in purpose to Annual Forums but shorter in duration and programs tend to be more targeted around specific themes
like marriage, culture, next generation development, generosity, etc.
Forum Days - niche programs built around company visits focused on learning best practices and faith integration. For example, one
of our favorite visits was with Chick-fil-A in Atlanta. Our learning focus was how to drive a value-based culture, building a leadership
paradigm using wisdom from above. The day was hosted by the Cathy family and President/COO Tim Tassopoulos.
Regional Events - uniquely designed for each of our key cities/regions. Our membership is organized as follows: Atlanta, California, Central
Florida, Chicago, Denver, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Northwest Arkansas, Phoenix, South Texas, and St. Louis.
Directors coordinate with Forum staff to create an appropriate rhythm of gatherings with spouses for fellowship, social activity, Bible
studies, prayer, etc.
Regional Forums - opportunities for members in a local area to come together for a half day, three times a year to experience a meaningful
group process led by a trained and experienced facilitator. The purpose of the Regional Forum is to equip Christian business leaders with
relationships, principles, practices, and paradigms necessary to live life with God and to lead transformative businesses which participate in
God's work and purposes in and for the world. It provides a safe place of refuge for peers to fellowship, connect, learn, share experiences,
seek wise counsel, reflect on current issues, and receive spiritual care and encouragement to face the complex challenges of leadership.
Annual Regional Dinners - informal gatherings with spouses in the homes of members living in close geographic proximity to build
relationships, share, pray, and receive an in-person update on national Forum initiatives.
