Implementation Strategy
• The balanced scorecard is a strategic planning and management tool used in
business organizations to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the
organization, improve internal and external communications and monitor organization
performance against strategic goals
• A Balanced Scorecard approach to performance measurement will enable you to
combine qualitative and quantitative metrics to yield a well-rounded view of the
performance of a project
• The balanced scorecard views the organization from four perspectives with the onus
on developing metrics, collecting data and analyzing it relative to each of these
perspectives:
• Learning & Growth • Customer
• Business Process • Financial
