Why Not Use Amazon Web Services?

• No… It’s Apples & Oranges: Remember that the [Partner] solution is fully-
managed for you, while AWS is a technical DIY approach. With AWS you still
need someone to manage the AWS technology.
• Hidden costs: The AWS “DaaS” cost is for their virtual hardware and
Windows only. Doesn’t include additional storage, application or networking
costs. Nor management, support, or help-desk.
• Lack of Portfolio: AWS doesn’t offer services for the customer to grow-into.
No Follow-me-data, device management, etc.
• Lack of Local device support: The AWS approach is fully in-the-cloud, with
very limited ability to interact with local devices or storage.
