ULI Advisory Services
To facilitate community input and engagement
early on in the East Campus Redevelopment ULI East Campus Redevelopment Advisory Panel
Project, Howard engaged the Urban Land Institute’s
(ULI) Advisory Services group to kick start the East
Campus redevelopment discussion and offer fresh
insights for this challenging, but valuable, site.
Monday Briefing by Howard and tour of site and surroundings
The goal of the ULI Advisory Services program is to
bring the finest expertise in the real estate field to
bear on complex land use planning and Interviews with > 80 stakeholders
development projects, programs, and policies. The - Area residents
ULI panel was asked to answer questions regarding Tuesday - School of Divinity stakeholders
the market potential, development strategies, - Development community
planning and design, and implementation of - DC Agencies
recommendations for the site while considering the June 13 - 17, 2016
University’s goals and community’s concerns.
The agenda for the five-day panel assignment Wednesday Panel discussions and analysis to conclude findings,
included an in-depth briefing day composed of a & Thursday finalize recommendations and draft report
tour of the site and meetings with sponsor
representatives; a full day of hour-long interviews
with over 80 key stakeholders; and two days of
formulating recommendations. During the final Friday Presentation of findings and recommendation to Howard
