0.3 mile/470m to the west, with views across woodland, fields, the Sugar Loaf and
the Black Mountains. The path heading towards the village (east) becomes narrow
and bumpy, for a short stretch. Gilwern village is 0.2 mile/300m away along the
towpath.

opposite the Corn Exchange pub (NP7 0DG) turn up Church Road, which is signposted
Llanelly Church. The entrance is 0.2 mile/300m uphill on the right hand side.
