HELPING YOU BUILD A COHESIVE TEAM
Adding any new team member to your crew can require substantial training, as you bring the newest individual up to speed on how things are done on board. But what if you are hiring for an entire vessel?
Since the early days of The Crew Academy, we have been working with new builds and refurbished yachts such as MY Shemara and MY Malahne to help Head of Department, Captains and Management companies create smooth- running and cohesive teams. Working directly with the yacht, we create bespoke training packages, aimed at bringing the whole team to a consistent level, working with them to help them bond as a uni ed whole.
Each of our service-based courses are PYA-accredited, meaning that your crew will not only gain skills and expertise, but also an industry-recognised certi cation that demonstrates their professional knowledge to management companies and owners. Crew bene t personally too, adding quali cations to their résumés that will help them progress in their careers.
We understand the importance of creating a superior guest experience, whether the yacht is used for charters or is privately-owned, and have built our ‘new build’ packages around this ethos. What we also understand is that to achieve a awless, smoothly running interior, you need the most talented, capable and con dent crew.
The Crew Academy works side-by-side with The Crew Hunter, our progressive interior headhunting specialists. Using The Crew Academy’s extensive alumni of students, each trained and tested to ensure they meet (and exceed) the upmost professional standards of the yachting industry, The Crew Hunter have access to some of yachting’s most quali ed and educated crew. The Crew Hunter are able to both verify the contents of our students’ cvs through their rigorous selection and tenacious recommendation process, attesting to their skills through access to our detailed alumni student reports.
