ANNUAL FLEET TRAINING
UNIQUE TRAINING PACKAGES FOR ALL INTERIOR CREW
In a new addition to The Crew Academy’s offerings, we have created yachting’s most comprehensive crew training package for all Fleets or Management Companies with more than three vessels. Based on an annual contract, clients have unlimited access to all of our in-house training courses as well as prioritisation when reserving places.
The package allows Management companies and Fleet managers to ensure comprehensive interior training for all interior crew members, from basic service and housekeeping skills through to professional-standard accounting and purser training, with no limit on the number of courses that crew can take each year.
Costs for the annual training contracts are based on the number of potential students. For more information and to discuss building a bespoke package for your company or eet, please contact us at info@thecrewacademy.com.
ON BOARD AUDITING
ENSURING EXCELLENCE AT EVERY LEVEL
With very little training and certi cation required for interior yachting positions, it can be dif cult to ensure that the standards of service, housekeeping and other essential skills provided by crew live up to the high expectations of the industry. Accounts of elementary errors and dissatis ed charter guests, owners and even other crew members are unfortunately still commonplace.
The Crew Academy provides on board auditing for vessels of all sizes from
one to three days while the yacht is at sea or in port. According to the client’s requirements, the auditor observes the interior crew working in a range of environments such as in the housekeeping and service department. We take time to consider the crew working as a team and also as individuals, producing detailed reports at the end of the audit for the group as a whole and for each individual crew member.
The Crew Academy worked with Management companies to develop the scope of our interior crew audits, which have been designed to be a positive learning experience for all involved with both strengths and weaknesses being highlighted in order to help crew members improve and gain new skills. We hope to inspire crew to take on board any recommendations, putting into practise suggestions put forward by our professional auditor in order to improve the overall running of the interior.
