Saddle pads
Saddle pads go under
your saddle to protect your
horse from contact with
your saddle’s material, and
absorb sweat. Saddle pads
are usually made of cotton, and they come in every color. They come in two si-
zes: horse and pony, and some are longer to be more comfortable for dressage.
It is recommended to change and wash you saddle pad every two weeks to pre-
vent your horse from getting a fungus or back skin infection from accumulating
sweat and dirt, so don’t hesitate to buy a couple of saddle pads.
