Michael Andrew
Michael got his start in this industry working at Chick-Fil-A at the young
age of 17. A technician came in late one evening to fix a broken grill and
Michael’s inquisitive nature led to him asking the guy a lot of questions.
The technician was very accommodating and gave him a business card
along with a recommendation to apply. He was hired by Jones-McLeod
on the spot, as somebody they could develop into a solid and produc-
tive technician. That was three and a half years ago and he’s still just 21!
Michael’s time at Chick-Fil-A allowed him to develop some really solid
customer service and team-working skills. This fit right in to Jones-Mc-
Leod’s philosophy of “taking it to the next mile” and going “above and beyond” the customers’
expectations. He takes exceptional pride in being able to step back after an install, realizing what his
team has accomplished, and seeing the look of utter awe in the customer’s eyes. It’s that sense of
pride and accomplishment that drives Michael towards being the best he can be each and every day!
Michael equates success with having an impact on others, a large enough impact that they too want
to influence lives. It’s by setting an example and “walking the talk” that he believes he can do just
that. He’s currently enrolled at the Fortis Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, to obtain his state and
EPA certifications in refrigeration. He sees the potential and importance of this field, along with the
opportunity for a great career!
We asked Michael what he would say to others interested in working for a CFESA company and he
replied; “With a CFESA company you can rest assured it’s a great company! They provide the training
opportunities to sharpen your skills and they adhere to the highest standards in the industry.”
Congratulations Michael!
Dylan Bakker
Dylan got his start by attending a technical college to get his degree in
HVAC where he received his licenses in gas, oil, and refrigeration. He real-
ly wanted to do more with his refrigeration license and as a result he got
a job with Choquette CKS, where he is currently employed.
Dylan will be the first to tell you that teamwork is everything in this
industry. It’s so necessary when it comes to assisting with large installs
or getting direction with unfamiliar equipment, that without it you won’t
succeed. It’s that team spirit and comradery that Dylan really enjoys! He
loves being able to assist customers and see the satisfaction on their
faces!
