The wicked things to God
Jesus. I mean, as Gentiles... In the book of Daniel, after Je-
rusalem was captured by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon,
foreign country, Daniel and his three friends were selected
to teach the literature of a foreign country, the Babylonians,
so they were called to the palace of the king of Babylon. The
royal food from the king’s table was given before them, but
because of the food that was placed before idols and that
was set with the meat of unclean animal, so Daniel and
his friends resolved not to defile themselves with the royal
food and wine, even though they knew that they would be
beheaded because rejecting the things from the king would
be regarded as rejecting king. Like this, we ourselves as
Gentiles who came to God and became to believe in Jesus
should determine firmly to believe according to the will of
God. Without having such a will of yours, you cannot have
faith rightly. It is you cannot act in faith rightly. And there
is no faith without resolution. That is not to believe by your
conscience. Once you have a determination to live according
to the will of God may require for you to cut off relationships
with people, and may have difficulties in your conscience,
take criticism, and sometimes damage your business. Howev-
er, as God had certainly rewarded when Daniel and his three
friends resolved not to defile themselves, all the rewards are
done by God, if you really believe.
