1. The dead conscience of human to God
commandment of Moses and to blaspheme against God who
gave the Law, so it would be the condition for them to stone
Jesus to death. Also, if Jesus says, ‘since she broke the law,
stone her to death, which is according to the law of Moses’,
it means to be exposed to be false about what He said that ‘I
have come to give life for forgiving the sins’, so it would be
the condition for having a basis for accusing Jesus.
But it says in the Bible, Jesus did not answer anything,
and bent down and started to write on the ground with His
finger, then none of them started an argument with Jesus
nor questioned. And Jesus said to them, ‘If any one of you is
without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her’, and
again He wrote on the ground, after that, those who heard
what He said felt the prick of conscience, so it said that every
old and young began to go away one at a time. It means they
felt the prick of conscience after they heard what Jesus said.
They felt guilty in their consciences. Then, what did Jesus
deal with while He was writing on the ground? He dealt with
their sins. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law thought
that no one knew their hidden sins. But the Bible says that
when Jesus exposed their hidden sins one by one from the
one who was near to Him, they began to go away silently,
until only the woman was left.
It means both the adulterous woman and those who
caught her in adultery to stone her to death were the same
