A Bar Mitzvah at Boys Town Jerusalem

. . . . . The Answer to a Prayer

For our many students in severe financial and/or emotional
distress, a festive Bar Mitzvah ceremony is an impossible dream.
Thanks to generous donors of all ages, Boys Town Jerusalem
arranges meaningful, fun and unforgettable Bar Mitzvahs on
campus for needy students, attended by family members and the
entire 7th grade. After the synagogue service, the guests are
treated to a gala homemade breakfast, accompanied by music and
dancing, after which the entire class goes bowling or go-carting.

A Twin Blessing for David & Daniel

When twins David & Daniel each recited the Torah portion at
their recent Bar Mitzvah ceremony at Boys Town Jerusalem, their
father was not at their side. Nor was their oldest, much-loved
brother. Even after several years, the bitter divorce that tore the
family apart still wreaks havoc. Yet thanks to an outpouring of love
and support, David & Daniel enjoyed a beautiful, festive Bar
Mitzvah with their Boys Town Jerusalem teachers and rabbis
proudly at their side in a celebration that no one will forget.
