Start with the head as this the only piece that requires stuffing
before completion, followed by the Body. Both will require the
majority of the stuffing material and the remainder will be used
to stuff the Arms & Legs equally.
You will need to add the stuffing at Row 28 of the pattern.
Stuffing
Stuff quite firmly and shape the head - it should be fairly
flat at the base & firm at the nose.
Approx weight when stuffed 25g.
Side View
If you want a ‘Beanie Bottom’ so your Teddy sits nicely
you need to add this to the base of the body before ADD PELLETS
stuffing.
How to make Beanie Bottom
Sew across one side of the nylon pocket completely.
Sew half way across the other side.
Add the Poly Pellets and finish sewing to seal the pocket.
Place flat in the base of the BODY
NB Poly Pellets are not recommended for use with
small children
Stuffing
Add the stuffing - a little less firmly than the Head.
Approx weight when stuffed 23g or 40g with Beanie
bottom
Stuff all 4 paws firmly .
Stuff the Arms more loosely to approx 1cm from the top
Stuff the Legs more loosely to approx 1.5cm from the
top
Ensure that the both arms & legs match in shape.
ARMS Approx weight when stuffed 6g each
LEGS Approx weight when stuffed 7g each
- The ears do not require stuffing.
