Title: Project Managers
Location: London Office
As young female engineers we feel lucky to be part of the NRP team working on the
West End Project Highway Configuration scheme. It is an iconic project for the
London Borough of Camden that will deliver improvements to London’s busy “West
End” area.
We are exposed to all aspects of the project through our roles as Project Managers.
We are responsible for communicating all site queries with the client, providing
prompt solutions to unexpected issues that arise on site, monitoring progress and
assessing the quantity and quality of the
work carried out daily.
What we really enjoy about the role is
that there is a lot of variety in the work
we do. Sometimes we spend full days
on site, meeting with supervisors and
dealing with newly found challenges.
Some days we are running between
meetings with the stakeholders and key
parties, and the rest of the timer we are
working in the office ensuring all project
administration work is up to date. Being
in a male dominant industry, all the
meetings and site visits are typically
filled with men. However, this has never
held us back from speaking up and
contributing. We are confident in our
abilities and believe that we bring
unique perspective and input to the
project.
