The Chair’s Office provides administrative support to the Chair of the department, Timothy E.
Morey, MD, as well as to the Director, Scott S. Sumner, MBA, and the Assistant Director, Joyce
Myers, MBA.
They also provide faculty support services to various faculty. They are the frontline of the
department and serve as the introduction the many people have to the Department of
Anesthesiology. The Chair’s Office works very hard to keep the department running smoothly
and efficiently. They are an invaluable resource who do much behind the scenes to make our
department shine.
