Kenya has the highest un-employment rate in East
Africa standing at almost 40%, most youth in Kenya are
un-employed. The formal sector has very limited
opportunities, employment in the formal sector remains
a pipe dream aganist the backdrop of the ballooning
wage bill, the informal sector has perhaps employed
more youths , unfortunately most jobs in the informal
sector are poorly renumerated.
