Shared Ride Response to Airport Shifts in Ground Transportation Systems
Shared ride van operators such as SuperShuttle and The GO Group are reacting to loss of market share through innovative technology of their own, expansion of desired new services, and lower fares. Playing a little catch-up, shared ride van operators now offer customer apps that are very similar in use and function to those utilized by the TNCs. As shown below, both SuperShuttle and The GO Group services now have customer apps that are user-friendly and make using their services easier to find and use. For example, SuperShuttle’s app has:
