     New Mixed-Use Development
     The  mixed-use  development  of  shops,  restaurants,  entertainment,  a  medical  office  building,  and
     apartments,  augmented  by  the  existing  department  stores  and  supermarket,  is  replacing  the  former
     Granite Run Mall. The new complex will include 400 apartments, 350,000 square feet of retail, an open
     courtyard surrounded by higher-end stores and restaurants connecting existing tenants Boscov’s and
     Sears, a six-story parking garage, along with a community trail around the perimeter. The overall size of
     the development will be reduced from approximately one million to about 820,000 square feet. A Frank
     Theatre Cinebowl & Grille, combining multiple screens, 10-pin alleys and a restaurant, will occupy the
     second floor location of the former JC Penney.
