This reference convention is not followed for the Upper Main AC
Distribution Panel, the Lower AC Distribution Panel Aft upper panels ACAWS
and the RH Main/AV DC Distribution upper panel since it does not
easily follow the row, # format. In these cases, the panel itself is
referenced as the location of the MCB(s). GROUND

                                                                                                            TAKEOFF

                            SYSTEM (ACAWS) MESSAGES

                                                                                                            FIRE/SMK
The ACAWS monitors and reports Warning, Caution, Advisory
NORM and Special Alert conditions that require crew intervention or
acknowledgment. ACAWS presents alphanumeric messages or PRES/OXY
                                    NOT FOR FLIGHT
symbols on the HDDs or HUDs which can be accompanied by aural
tones and/or voice messages. The ACAWS Warnings and Cautions
also illuminate the MASTER WARNING or MASTER CAUTION. Some ENG/PROP
Special Alert aural tones associated with the GCAS may be silenced
by using the HUSH button on the control wheel (refer to Chapter 14).

There are four ACAWS message alert levels in this section: Warning, FUEL
Caution, Advisory and Special Alert. ACAWS are grouped by alert
levels and list the conditions which triggered the aircraft message
labeled Conditions” and the crew corrective action labeled “Crew AAR
Action.” An asterisk (*) at the end of an ACAWS message indicates
SPEC that other associated components may have been affected by the ELEC
failure (e.g., if an electrical bus fails, all of the components powered
from that bus would also lose power). Each asterisked message
is repeated in the Fault Log and followed by a cascade listing
of associated components that may be degraded or failed. HYD
