If one BETA indication does not illuminate after
the power levers are brought to GND IDLE, and no AAR
other associated ACAWS occurs, there is a remote

as airspeed slows. If necessary for directional
control, the engine FIRE handle should be pulled
on the engine without the BETA indication.

Power levers should be moved from full reverse
to GND IDLE, or the brakes released, just before GEAR
the aircraft comes to a full stop to prevent the nose
gear from coming off the ground and causing
possible tail contact. If any loose material is on DOR/RMP
PERF the runway which can be lifted by the propellers,
return the power levers toward GND IDLE by 50
KIAS, as required, to prevent reduced visibility JETTISON
and engine damage.
