Do not allow the propeller to windmill with oil supplied
(FIRE handle in) at greater than 3 percent for more TAKEOFF
than 5 minutes. Slow rotation of the engine causes
oil to pool in the power section bearing sumps and

NORM propeller windmills at greater than 3 percent, the engine
must be started before the 5 minute limit and the engine

the oil sumps. If the 5 minute limit is exceeded, do not
attempt a restart.
