                                Operation of the cargo door and ramp at altitude may
                                cause the auxiliary hydraulic pump to cavitate.
                         Failure of the electric motor-driven auxiliary hydraulic pump in the                  AAR
                         auxiliary hydraulic system results in the loss of hydraulic power for
  SPEC                   normal operation of the following systems:                                            ELEC

                               ‡  Cargo door and ramp.
                               ‡  Loss of electrically controlled emergency hydraulic power for:               HYD
                                  -   Main landing gear brakes

                                  -   Extension of the nose landing gear                                    FLT CTRL

                                If the auxiliary hydraulic pump is inoperative, the auxiliary
                                hydraulic system hand pump may be used to supply                            DOR/RMP
  PERF                          emergency pressure to these systems in the event of the
                                loss of electrically controlled hydraulic system pressure.
                                                                                                            JETTISON
                            ‡   If both utility and auxiliary pressure are lacking for
                                the brakes, stopping and taxiing control must be
                                accomplished with reverse thrust and differential power                     LANDING
                                application.  Stop the aircraft as soon as possible.
                                Taxiing the aircraft under its own power without brakes
