his is a variation on another ancient mariner's knot. A pair of these knots, one at each
T end of a ladder, can make an improvised work platform or suspend a framework from
which kitchen utensils can be hung. Note however, that each loop will pu!J slack from the
other loop.
With the working end of the
I rope, form a crossing turn so
that the working part lies on top of
the standing part. Then, double back
the working end to form a bight.
