FROST KNOT
his knot is a recent 'invention': devised by Tom Frost during the 1960s, it is a simple
T overhand loop that is tied in webbing instead of cordage in order to create climbing
ladders called etriers (French: stirrups).
Make a short bight at one end of a length Insert the other end between the two flat
