FROST KNOT

his knot is a recent 'invention': devised by Tom Frost during the 1960s, it is a simple
T overhand loop that is tied in webbing instead of cordage in order to create climbing
     ladders called etriers (French: stirrups).

Make a short bight at one end of a length Insert the other end between the two flat
I of webbing. 2 sections of the bight.

                                                        webbing, around behind the
loop and pull them all through.
Making sure that all of the
                                                        three sections are lying flat,
                                                        tighten the knot.

Make an anti-clockwise overhand loop with
3 all three parts of the webbing.
