The Truth Will Set You Free 155
It won't happen, unfortunately, that all the world will
turn to God now. Even as His last act progresses, many
will watch the play in unbelief.
People will not believe when they see the foundation
laid for the Tribulation Temple. They will not believe when
the rapture occurs. It will be interesting to see the reasons
formulated for the remarkable disappearance of the Chris-
tians.
They will not believe when the Antichrist comes for-
ward, desecrates the Temple, and brings on the Armaged-
don.
And Jesus Christ will return to a world of unbelievers.
How sad. When the Lord, who suffered so for our re-
demption, comes back to the world, He will be surrounded
by those who would not even pick up the receipt.
How disappointed the Lord was after He healed the ten
lepers. When only one came back to thank Him, He said
wistfully, "Were there not ten cleansed?"
The believers have a big job on their hands now. The
world cannot be saved. As Jesus pointed out time and
again, "It is written."
But some people can be saved. The divine attitude is
clear: "The Lord is . . . not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance" (2 Pe 3:9).
The believers must go forward now as never before and
harvest the Lord's fields. The world has not gotten any
easier to reach since the ministries of the apostles, but time
is running out. Mass media, the churches, and every avail-
able device must be pressed into service to bring the truth
to the unbelieving world.
And one-to-one witnessing, as utilized by Jesus Christ,
must flourish in this degenerating world.
For the unbeliever the issue is clear. Go to God now. He
