Obviously, the Temple Mount, the holy site of the biblical
Jews, is a shrine to both Judaism and Christianity, and there
is no sign that its significance will decrease in the future. We
can probably expect ongoing approaches by the Jews, in spite
of Muslim resistance, in keeping with the program for the
building of the Tribulation Temple.
In fact, in early March 1976, another, much more or-
ganized attempt to pray on the mount ensued, and this time
there was a public debate on the scene. The police maintained
a low profile as this modern version of the rivalry of Isaac
