My dear Reverend McCall,
Your letter of the 28th January eventually reached us
and I must apologise for our delay.
It was indeed kind of you to make inquiries about the
Jerusalem Great Synagogue. For your information I am
sending you herewith a pamphlet on the subject. The ex-
terior of the building has been extremely improved since
the pamphlet has published but generally we are doing
everything possible to make this the most beautiful Syna-
gogue in the world for Jerusalem deserves nothing less.
Cheques can be sent to our New York office, the address
being the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, Suite 1500, 2 Penn
Plaza, New York 1001. Where the donor wishes to ben-
efit from the tax-free excemption the cheques should be
made payable to the American Hechal Shlomo Committee
Inc.
We are looking forward to hearing from you and hope
