The Man In Love
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion. The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs. What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs? Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
Psalm 114:1-8
At the sight of God’s presence, all obstacles run for cover of their own accord. They tremble not because of the husband and his wife but because of the presence of God that they carry. It is wisdom then for a husband to love his wife because the incentive to do so is strong enough.
THE BLESSING OF JOY. Jesus showed another great benefit of loving our wives which is obedience to His commandment in John 15:9-12,
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and
