The Man In Love
that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
John 15:9-12
The scriptures says that one of the reasons that the commandment to love one another is given to us is so that His joy will be in us and our joy may be full. The implication of this is that, if we fail to obey His commandments, joy will be far away from us.
Every husband desires to have his prayers answered always, desires to enjoy fullness of joy, and also desires to carry the presence of God. The command that husbands should love their wives is no doubt a pursuit of self-interest and that makes it easier and perhaps more convenient for us to walk that path, albeit with the help of God.
Loving Made Easy
We have the right and very strong motivation to express love to our wives! When the objective of a commandment coincides with those of self, then compliance becomes fun and easy. Even when it is demanding, we are too glad to give it what it
