Chapter Four
LOVE TO WHAT END?
Our God is a God of purpose. He does nothing for the fun of it. He commands nothing for the fun of it either. Each of us is called to serve God’s purpose in our own generation just like the Bible says of David in Acts 13:36 NIV. In this chapter, we turn to discuss the purpose for God’s commandment to husbands to love their wives in Ephesians 5:25.
To Please God
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.
