Husbands must also feed spiritual food to their wives. Let us examine Proverbs 10:21,
The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.
Proverbs 10:21
The words of wisdom that proceed from the lips of the righteous address their spiritual feeding requirements. This gives us light also in relation to our wives. We husbands must attend to their wives spiritual nourishment needs by speaking words of wisdom to them regularly. The power of words that we speak I manifested variously all across scriptures. Jesus spoke to the fig tree and cursed it in Mark 11:21. And then He spoke to the storm to be calm and they obeyed to the amazement of the people (Luke 8:24- 25). He said in Mark 11:23 that whatever we speak to the mountain shall come to pass if we do not doubt in our hearts. In the same vein, Isaiah 55:11 assures that every word that God speaks will accomplish it purpose and not return to Him void. These are all privileges that we have as sons of God.
Our wives must be beneficiaries of food of our righteous lips. We must learn to nourish them regularly with the word of
