The Man In Love
God, pronouncing in faith what we desire them to be o that in time they will manifest as such.
“Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Jeremiah 3:14-15
Look at what God said through prophet Jeremiah in the above scripture. He was speaking to them as people to whom He was ‘married.’ He said that He would give them shepherds according to His heart that will feed them with knowledge and understanding. This also attests to the need for nourishment through understanding and knowledge. The come from the lips of the righteous husband whom God places as a shepherd over his wife!
Husbands must also feed their wives with everything that makes a merry heart. Whatever makes a heart merry is a good source of nourishment. This is because of what proverbs 17:22 says,
A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.
