17. Christ Made Their Joy Full
As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
John 15:9-12
Jesus spoke words to His disciples and us that made their joy full. The commandment to love one another was one of such. He abided in the love of His Father and commanded us to abide in His love. When we show our wives love we abide in His love just as He abided in the love of His Father. That is a veritable platform for filling our wives with joy. Husbands commitment to abiding in love toward his wife will increase joy in his wife with great benefits accruing to both husband and wife.
