The Man In Love
clear that love is of God and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. That means those who do not know God do not have the capacity to love in the way that God prescribes. The scripture also says that: “God is love.” The children of God that have the Spirit of God and therefore share His nature are the only ones who can manifest His love. True love will most naturally proceed from whoever has or carries His nature of love.
Love is produced in man by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love (2 Timothy 1:7), and the fruit that the Spirit produces in us is love (Galatians 5:22). Moreover, the Holy Spirit is the children’s bread exclusively. Jesus said in John 14:16-18 that the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit. It is clear therefore, that only the children of God can develop the capacity to exhibit, dispense and exercise that Jesus commanded.
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever
