said all that is Father has is His. This was because of His status as a heir of God. No that we are also joint heirs with Him, it means that all that the Father has is ours as well.
Jesus also gave us access to the Holy Spirit, that very special gift of God that came upon Him before He began His work of ministry. In Romans 8:14, we understand that through the Spirit of God we become ‘sons of God’ just like Jesus. That same Spirit empowers and emboldens us to approach the throne of God with the same confidence with which Jesus approaches Him, to cry ‘Abba, Father.’ This was a special privilege that Jesus alone had but gave up for us when He committed Himself to ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit to provide us the necessary parental covering in His absence. This is captured in John 14:16-18,
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
