The Man In Love
Jesus was so concerned about what the state of his own would become in His absence and He took steps to make provisions to keep them safe, comfortable and to protect their interest.
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
John 14:1-4
Jesus told us that He had gone to prepare a place for us in His Father’s house so that when He comes back for us, we will dwell together there with Him. This is another gesture of His that expresses clearly His love for us. He dint desire to make a distinction between where He abodes and where we will be. It was not enough for us to be saved but He has gone the extra mile to bring us up to His standard as far as possible. He has done many things to obscure the differences in status between Himself, our Saviour, and us! We should ask if we accord our wives the same privileges! How does the dressing of our wives compare with ours? Will men know see your status in your wife in all respects?
