Course Title: Conducting Systematic and Scoping Reviews for Healthcare Professionals
Objectives
1. Define and differentiate between systematic and scoping reviews.
2. Identify the key steps involved in conducting a systematic or scoping review.
3. Develop a search strategy to identify relevant studies for inclusion in a review.
4. Apply inclusion and exclusion criteria to screen and select studies.
5. Extract data from selected studies using standardized methods.
6. Analyse and synthesize data to draw conclusions and identify knowledge gaps.
7. Understand the importance of reporting the findings of a systematic or scoping review
using established reporting guidelines.
