There is a small pause in Eik’s speech, as if he was about to gather strength to

continue the conversation.
“I just couldn't stand your way of talking about George. I don't know what you

think he is lacking, but we should be very happy for having him with us. "

"Sorry, I was just nervous about everything that happened tonight."
"Okay. By the way, Matt is home. He called me just before you."

The two friends hung up. There are often quarrels in the gang.
They are now only the three original members of the group - and now George.

There has been a lot of replacement through time.

George sits, drinking ale and watching a movie. It is, as if he's just looking

through the screen, not noticing what goes on, on the screen.

"Cheers," he says, as Janokovic sits down on the couch next to him.
"Cheers," Jano says.

"I'm making a joint."
Janokovic gets up from the couch.

"Georgie, Eik told you that there were three people who died this evening. I

knew that someone made the jump from the Ferris wheel, but you can't say it's
our fault, right? "

"Relax, man. We have nothing to do with an idiot jumping out of a carriage,"

says George slurring from the sofa.
They smoked weed and drank ale as they watched the movie.

"What do you wanna spend the money on?"

George lies with his head tilted, stretching his body.
And before Janokovic could answer, George fell asleep.

Janokovic sits a little while, watching the movie flicker by.

He finishes the joint and starts to feel calm and happy, he laughs to himself. He
feels satisfied, it's as if the television was twice as big and would tell him

something. Shortly afterwards he also falls asleep, in a half-sitting half-lying
position on the couch next to George.
