იუსტიციის სამინისტროს საჯარო რეესტრის ეროვნული სააგენტო, 2014 წლიდან დღემდე მჭიდროდ
თანამშრომლობს ნორვეგიის კარტოგრაფიის ორგანოსთან, კერძოდ, გეოსივრცითი მონაცემების
წარმოების და ეროვნული სივრცითი მონაცემების ინფრასტრუქტურის (NSDI) განვითარების მიმარ-
თულებით.

ნორვეგიის კარტოგრაფიის ორგანოს მხარდაჭერით განხორციელებული პროექტის „რუკები საქართვე-
ლოს მდგრადი განვითარებისთვის“ შედეგად, შეიქმნა საერთაშორისო სტანდარტების შესაბამისი, მა-
ღალი ხარისხის ორთოფოტოები, რელიეფის ციფრული მოდელი და ციფრული საბაზისო რუკები.
პროექტს 2017 წელს ჩაეყარა საფუძველი და საქართველოს მთელ ტერიტორიაზე საბაზისო გეოგრა-
ფიული მონაცემებისა და ტერიტორიული არეალებისთვის მაღალხარისხიანი ციფრული ვექტორული
რუკების შექმნას ითვალისწინებდა. ასევე, შეიქმნა ვებგვერდის MAPS.GOV.GE მობილური აპლიკაცია
“Georgia Maps”.

ნორვეგიის მთავრობის მხარდაჭერით განხორციელებული პროექტების ფარგლებში შესრულებული
მასშტაბური აეროგადაღების (40000 კვ.კმ. - 2016-2017 წწ., 9000 – 2020წ.) შედეგად, საქართველოს
აქვს საერთაშორისო სტანდარტების შესაბამისი, მაღალი ხარისხის, საბაზისო გეოგრაფიული მონაცე-
მები – რელიეფის ციფრული მოდელი და ორთოფოტო, რასაც არაერთი უწყება იყენებს გეოგრაფიული
მონაცემების წარმოების საფუძვლად, აგრეთვე - ციფრული, საბაზისო რუკა.

საჯარო რეესტრის ეროვნული სააგენტოსა და ნორვეგიულ მთავრობის მიერ დაფინანსებული პროექტის
„რუკები საქართველოს მდგრადი განვითარებისთვის“ დასკვნითი ღონისძიება გაიმართა. ღონისძიებაზე
დამსწრე საზოგადოებას მისასალმებელი სიტყვით მიმართა და პროექტის მნიშვნელობაზე ისაუბრა
საქართველოს იუსტიციის მინისტრის პირველმა მოადგილემ თამარ ტყეშელაშვილმა.

As a result of the project “Maps for Sustainable Development in Georgia” implemented with
the support of the Norwegian Mapping Authority, high-quality orthophotos, a digital terrain
model and digital base maps were created in accordance with international standards. The
project was launched in 2017 and envisaged the creation of basic geographical data through-
out Georgia and the high-quality digital vector maps for territorial areas. The mobile applica-
tion “Georgia Maps” of the website MAPS.GOV.GE was created as well.
As a result of large-scale aerial photography (40,000 sq. km – in 2016-2017, 9000 – in
2020) carried out within the projects supported by the Norwegian government, Georgia has
high-quality, basic geographical data - digital terrain model, orthophoto as well as - digital,
basic map in line with international standards which is used by many authorities as a basis
for the production of geographical data.

The closure event of the Norwegian government funded and NAPR implemented project “Maps
for Sustainable Development in Georgia” was held. Tamar Tkeshelashvili, the First Deputy
Minister of Justice of Georgia addressed the audience and spoke about the importance of the
project. Oleg (Bacho) Tortladze, NAPR Chairman, presented the MAPS.GOV.GE mobile applica-
tion “GEORGIA MAPS” to the invited guests and thanked the Norwegian side for the support.
Lasha Lobjanidze, Deputy Chairman of NAPR, introduced the results of the project “Maps for
Sustainable Development in Georgia” to the participants of the meeting. NAPR Representa-
tives also presented “Digital Maps” and “Use of IGIF for National Spatial Data Infrastructure”.
The closure event was attended by Helen Sand Andersen, Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia, the delegation of Moldova and Norway,
international experts, the representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and other gov-
ernment authorities.
