ტერმინოლოგიის ლექსიკონი გამოსცა
The National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) has published a geodetic and cartographic
technical-terminological Georgian dictionary, which did not exist in Georgia until today. Giorgi
Mdzeluri, Chief Specialist of the Geodesy and Cartography Service at Geodesy and Geoinfor-
mation Department worked on the dictionary.
The creation of technical-terminological dictionary in Georgian language serves to increase
the national scientific potential and its integration with world science.
The dictionary contains the terminology of higher and engineering geodesy, topography and
cartography, as well as certain terms from such adjacent fields of science and technology
as astronomy, computational mathematics, gravimetry, tectonics and others. The dictionary
also includes Georgian specific military topographic terms.
The dictionary is designed for wider society, teachers and students of higher and secondary
technical schools, professionals working in this field and translators of technical literature.
This is the only field in Georgia that did not have a technical-terminological dictionary.

ლოგიის რუსულ-ქართული ლექსიკონი გამოსცა, რომელიც საქართველოში დღემდე არ არსებობდა.
რუსულ-ქართული
ლექსიკონის შექმნაზე სააგენტოს გეოდეზიისა და გეოინფორმაციის დეპარტამენტის გეოდეზიისა და
კარტოგრაფიის სამსახურის მთავარი სპეციალისტი გიორგი მძელური მუშაობდა.
ლექსიკონი განკუთვნილია საზოგადოების ფართო წრეებისათვის, უმაღლესი და საშუალო ტექნიკური
სასწავლებლების პედაგოგებისა და სტუდენტებისათვის, ამ დარგში მომუშავე სპეციალისტებისა და
ტექნიკური ლიტერატურის მთარგმნელთათვის.
ლექსიკონში თავმოყრილია უმაღლესი და საინჟინერო გეოდეზიის, ტოპოგრაფიისა და კარტოგრაფიის
ტერმინოლოგია, ასევე ცალკეული ტერმინები მეცნიერებისა და ტექნიკის ისეთი მომიჯნავე დარგებიდან,
როგორებიცაა ასტრონომია, გამოთვლითი მათემატიკა, გრავიმეტრია, ტექტონიკა და სხვა. ლექსიკონში
აგრეთვე ასახულია ქართულენოვანი სამხედრო სპეციფიკური ტოპოგრაფიული ტერმინები.
