Examining the implications of Brexit for the UK food and drink supply chain
The UK’s imminent departure from the EU is dogged by uncertainty and as one of Britain’s biggest industries, the impact on the food and drink market will be enormous. Yet, the food and drink export market is booming, with UK exports growing by nearly 10% in 2017 and global sales reaching £20bn. This session will look at the most pressing questions being asked by the industry and the unknowns its facing, as well as what we do know about the potential for export beyond the EU.
