The Tower at STAR Campus | University of Delaware

Bernardon provided design services for the STAR Tower,
a public-private partnership between the University of
Delaware and Delle Donne & Associates. This ten-story
building is located at the University of Delaware STAR
(Science, Technology, and Advanced Research) Campus.
The 120,000 SF structure houses high-tech classrooms
and research facilities. Floors 2 through 7 are occupied
by the University of Delaware College of Health Sciences,
the college’s leadership team, and two departments.
Education and research spaces are included, as well as new
community wellness clinics. The remaining three floors
consist of office space for commercial tenants working
in the fields of biomedical engineering, information Tower design reflects this by taking on the abstract form of
