walk along Saint Jones River. The two images shown to the right of
figure x.Xx, are of the Potomac riverfront walk, in Alexandria, VA.
This river-walk takes a more natural approach, utilizing asphalt

a great precedent for Dover to propose a river-walk while limiting

the amount of development and disturbance along the river edge.
The parcel on the west side of the Saint Jones River could also be

engagement is an important facet of the Dover redevelopment
plan and promotes physical activity for the younger and older

crowd, alike. Incorporating art into the skate park, by utilizing the
public or hiring a local artist, would also assist in establishing an
art community within Dover.
