An area for food trucks has also been programmed where local
restaurants and food truck can park and accommodate park users.
Directly adjacent to the food truck loop, is a spacious paver area that
has three different gathering and seating zones. Three raised planters
are being proposed in the middle of the seating zones to provide seating
areas and shade for park users to gather, socialize, and enjoy food that
they just purchased from a food truck. At the southeast corner, a “social
stair” deck is being proposed. These “social stairs” provide seating but
also influence socializing with other park users, making this zone a more
communal gathering place. At the northern portion of the paver area, a
“beer garden” space is being proposed to provide a more intimate setting
and gathering space.
