As a result of the work of the facilita-

tors, the arrival of thousands of cases

to the courts has been avoided; in the

last five years 157,000 cases did not

reach trial because they were avoi-

ded by facilitators. This figure surpas-

ses the cases resolved by an average

judicial power in the Central Ameri-

can Region.

The Program has developed a wide range of training for security institutions in commu-

nity prevention. Thousands of officers have been trained in community prevention.
