NOAH Genesis 6:22
RESPONSIBILITY BUILDING
Living a Life that Matters
Genesis 6:8-9 says, “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of
Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he
walked with God.” (NIV). It is said that ‘success is found in your daily agenda.’ What
you do daily (repetition) gets you through (perseverance) to the end. Verse 9 says that
Noah walked with God. This was a part of his daily agenda. He got good at walking
with God which made him better at living a good life.
RESPONSIBILITY continued...
There will be days that you will not want to get up and give it all you’ve got. There will
be days you will not want to run another lap – run it anyway! There will be days you
will want to hit the snooze button for a few more zzzzzzs – get up anyway! There will be
days you will want to hang up the cleats and call it a day – lace ‘em up anyway! It was
in the ‘doing it anyway’ that kept Noah’s head above water. Doing it anyway will do the
same for you.
ACTION THRU TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIONS
Repetition helped a goal be reality! Once we do something repeatedly, we become better
and better at it. I’m sure, at first, Noah wasn’t great with a hammer. But, once callouses
were in place and a rhythm established, he could pound nails with his eyes closed. What
dream would you like to see realized?
Repetition and perseverance allow you to see the Promise fulfilled. For Noah, it was a
rainbow. What is the promise for you?
What are you doing consistently to see your dream become a reality?
What traits did Noah have that you need in order to make your legacy even greater?
