What you’ll need:
Ingredients
1 kg potatoes, peeled and cut into 1cm thick fingers
2 to 3 litres sunflower oil
Fine salt and Maldon sea salt
Tools
Knife
Chopping board
Dry kitchen cloth
A large, tall pot
Spider or frying basket
Thermometer
Mixing bowl
What to do:
1. Add the sunflower oil to your pot so that it is approximately half full.
2. Heat the oil to a temperature of 160° or 170° C.
